چکیده
Mindfulness Interventions for Adolescents A recent study (Marks, Sobanski, & Hine, 2010) shows that dispositional mindfulness moderates psychological dysfunction in adolescence. The authors suggest that interventions to increase dispositional mindfulness in childhood may support the wellbeing of adolescents confronted by the inevitable stresses of growing up. This implies that teaching adolescents mindfulness techniques at school might improving overall well-being. Here I critically appraise existing research on mindfulness interventions during adolescence in the context of assessing which research methods would be appropriate to apply in, for example, the Scottish school system.
